Guys, I'm going to have a 5-day IRL tournament starting tomorrow so I won't be very active till Wednesday.
So that's the earliest I can start this.
But I'll DM roles soon, so you can discuss, claim, and yap here.

All roles have been sent out!
Everyone, some quick rules before we start (on Wednesday):

Game Functions

The game of Murder Mystery cycles between day and night phases. It starts off at D1, then goes to N1, and goes to D2, and goes to N2, and so on.

Even nights are full moon nights, meaning certain roles gain special abilities/buffs to their abilities during that time.

If nobody dies in 3 days/nights, then the game ends in a draw.

If you are dead, you may NOT speak about the game on the main thread nor with alive players in private.

There are certain roles that can do their actions beyond the grave. I will tell you if this is the case for your role.

Certain roles that can allow dead to talk with the living by IM/chat. I will make it very clear to you if you can talk with somebody, and with whom if that is the case.

Day

At the start of the day, I announce who has died last night, and send out PMs to everybody with the results of their actions (if there are any).

During day, living players may privately talk to other living players by "whisper". Tell me who you whisper to and the message you send. I announce that you're whispering on the thread, who you're whispering too, and send the message to the person you whisper.

Everybody has 24 hrs to lynch somebody. To lynch somebody, one player must get more than 50% of votes. Once there are enough votes, the player dies (bypassing all defense).
Once the 24 hours are up, the player with the most votes is lynched.

You can vote to no lynch, going to night instantly. If there is no endorsed players/revealed mayor, no lynch requires 50%+ of the votes. If there is an endorsed player/revealed mayor, no lynch requires more than 50% of the votes.

If somebody is lynched/day takes too long, it goes into nightfall.

Also, a few roles have actions they can do during the day.

Night

During night, most players use their abilities. IM me what your action is. If you do not want to do anything, tell me. Not IMing me your action or lack thereof gets you marked as AFK.

You may still chat in the main thread at night, but whispering is banned. You also may not tell anybody any notification I sent to you at the start of the night (Such as jailed, pirated, or taken for a ritual).

Also, certain players may discuss with each other by IM.

I will create chats for Mafia. I will create chats for Medium upon request. Do not use these chats at day.

People who can chat

SS/Jailor/Gossiper/Puppeteer talking with targets

Maf/Cov/Vamp chatting with each other

Medium talking with dead

Code of Conduct

If anybody breaks these rules, please notify me so I can take proper action. I try to be as lenient as I can but if somebody keeps rule breaking I'll be forced to be harsh.

Game

  1. Don't gamethrow.

  2. Don't screenshot/copy paste IMs.

  3. Don't IM other players unless you are in a special chat. Even then, only use the chat when you're supposed too (Maf/cov/vamp chats at night).

  4. Don't talk while dead. If you keep talking while dead, you'll be muted every time you die.

  5. Try not to delete/edit posts. I'm more lenient on this since it's not gamebreaking and harder to prove/punish.

  6. AFKing more than 2 day/night cycles in a row makes you starve to death. You may do nothing, just make sure to check in by IM or participate in day chat.

  7. You can't purposely suicide (IN THE GAME), unless you have a role that allows you (IN THE GAME) to or your team is in a clearly losing position and you're just speeding the game up. Same applies to self voting.
