BUG: Engine remains active/accessible in the Correspondence analysis board

I'll get straight to the point, I have an issue I think it's better to be cautious about.

I have a screenshot. If you're interested in this, please DM me with your email, and I can send the screenshot to you.

In correspondence games, below the opponent's name, there's an icon for the analysis board. Clicking it lets you view the opening explorer, set premoves, etc. However, if you first enable the engine in Tools -> Analysis Board, and then open the analysis board within the correspondence game, you'll find the engine is still enabled there too – even the engine bar is visible. I couldn't find a way to turn it off, and then I was flagged for "cheating detected" and lost the game.
I use the Lichess Tools browser extension, although I'm not sure if it's related to this issue...

I have that bug too, and I also use Lichess Tools.

Just go to analysis board from Tools next to community and turn off the engine.

I have that bug too, and I don’t use Lichess tools. I also made a screenshot, if you need it.

Turning off the engine indeed seems to fix it, and another solution would be to use the (old) mobile app, but of course it’s just a workaround.

This also happened to me so I haven't played any moves in the game I saw it in, Idk what I am supposed to do to not be detected for cheating falsely.

I experienced the same issue today. I am also using LiChess Tools (version 2.4.76, last updated on 26th August).
I switched it off, logged out from Lichess, and even cleaned the brower's cache, and closed and restarted it (Firefox 142.0.1) - just to be really sure. Unfortunately the issue remains! As soon as I switch on the engine in an analysis board, it is also active in the analysis board of a correspondance game.
@CourageousCheckmate6's workaround does the trick for the time being, but from my point of view this is a severe issue caused by Lichess itself!

Agreed.

I do not use lichess tools. This happened to me. I was not doing this intentionally, since we were still early in the opening stage, it seems that I have not been flagged for cheat detection. For the time being I am just going to try to avoid using the correspondence analysis board.

@somerapidplayer No need to avoid it. Just open the analysis board from the Tools menu and make sure, that the engine is switched off. You can then use the analysis board in your correspondance game as usual.
