I have installed SCID vs. PC and would now like to populate it with a big database of games. Are there any free ones out there with several million games in them?
Thanks,
Jon
There is a free database of 2.2 million games available here:
http://www.top-5000.nl/pgn.htmIt contains games through 2013.
Here's a free database of 200 million games:
database.lichess.orgGorgonian also has a game collection:
http://gorgonian.weebly.com/and TWIC has the latest games, see this post of mine:
lichess.org/forum/general-chess-discussion/is-this-a-useful-training-method-?page=2#20@thibault just the 2000+ classical games from that collection, that would be a nice thing to have, because i just have 5 GBs volumina per 15 euro :-(
112 euros to download them all for me.
You can try my collection if you like. Consists of 3,5 million games. I update it roughly once a month using the latest TWIC files.
