Is frequent forfeiting acceptable?

I have experienced this so many times now where I make a good move, trap my opponent or capture their queen and immediately after my opponent forfeits.

To me, this feels like bad sportsmanship. Is this behavior acceptable in the lichess community?
It is bad sportmanship of course.

An autoblock feature for players with a game completion rate under x would be useful.
and the players should also automatically be informed that their rate dropped and that now some players do autoblock them.
for example:

"Your game completion rate dropped below 99%. 3% of lichess players are now autoblocking you."
If you meant that your opponent resigns, that is not a bad sportsmanship. He does not want to play a lost game.
If he goes offline, and does not resign, that is.... not everyone plays to checkmate, and a lot of people resign when they are 2 pieces or a queen down.
You dont need to go till checkmate. you can resign. When I play OTB I find it really annoying when people play on till checkmate
Yeah, when you know you are going to lose it's stupid to keep playing. Why on earth would I want to keep playing when I lost my queen against a strong player?
I'd rather use the remaining time to play another game...
I think it is totally antisportive and unacceptable. It is also disrespectful towards the player that made the good move (e.g. ate your queen).
I think there is no need to play the rest of the game if there is no way to win, it is the waste of time for the player who is in the lead. If you can not win from a position, the match is already won for your opponent, so you resign. If you look at the GM matches, you will see that they resign in a loosing position because that is the right thing to do.
