This is the american way. The winner/loser mentality. If as a worker (loser) you claim for the right of a decent retribution to live a decent life, you become a dirty communist who is against "free" market.
http://www.bloombergview.com/quicktake/executive-pay#9 #11 I suppose neither of you are opposed to the imminent Kraft-Heinz merger causing thousands of people to lose their jobs. The American Way (TM) isn't always right.
How dare you, sir.
Sorry, I may have oversimplified and stepped out of line there.
What I meant to say is just because current laws and business models support "capitalism" doesn't make the status quo just or fair. Yes, the CEO endured risk, but employees put their jobs and livelihoods at risk every day.
debate about whats "just" or "fair" can not be resolved through experimentation, not even in theory. So it doesn't survive Alder's razor.
what one can discuss is which economic models lead to the greatest rate of growth or the best standards of living
But Alder's razor allows for externalization of issues otherwise meritorious of public discussion (on account of their importance). Just because a logical argument cannot be had doesn't mean discussion is a bad thing.
