Why 0+6 Blitz Might Be the Most Underrated Time Control

Hardly anyone talks about 0+1 and 15 seconds+1

Yeah, this might be a time control I can try. I like how it’s sort of a mix of blitz and bullet.

I don't like to lose on time positions already won nor the opposite. Yes I understand clocking opponent it's part of bullet games but simply I don't enjoy it.

So a blitz game with generous increment to put some time pressure but still have enough time to convert sounds good to me.
I tried 0+6 and I liked! :))

What about something like 1/2+5, so you don't immediately flag in the opening

Yes, it would help to play better the opening

nice time control, but few opponents playing it. I liked the post

Personally, I prefer 2-12. It allows the time to come up with a good move if the game goes 40-60 moves (and if a game goes that long, I don't mind spending the time on it.) But it doesn't allow someone to take 15 minutes for the first 20 moves.

I tried the 0+6 seconds per move approach. I still lost quickly but that was to be expected.
