How to overcome your overconfidence while playing a chess match

Hello everyone,
Some of the games I've lost, but I've observed that most of my games which I've lost is because of my overconfidence. So I need to overcome my overconfidence in order to win more games. So, can anybody help me. Please.

Some players (including me) lose more confidence when they play with stockfish 8

Thank you it is helpful according to theory and practically too.

You will probably lose to stronger opponents / bots. So it can help you to overcome your overconfidence.

It is quite a good suggestion, but I don't think it is helpful. Your suggestion is helpful to improve your chess skills. But playing with strong players is good, but if you play too much you may lose interest in playing chess (same with the bot).

Still thank you for your suggestion.
