Don‘t take it literally!

Maybe start with just exchange variation for a few months before allowing black to do more and choosing between 4.e3 or Bg5 or Harrwitz or Catalan.
Playing Exchange then adding Harrwitz then Catalan isn't bad progression. Then you can add 1.g3 and play into Catalan. Those could keep u busy a decade or 3.
Be ready for king's indian, grunfeld, Dutch, benoni, benko, nimzo and all other hell that comes with d4,c4.
Or play English and cut your problems by 70%
d4,c4 can hav better advantage but u also face more variety.
