I cannot play on the phone anymore. The pieces are not shown anymore. I would play a blind game. Since a few hours, coinciding with the system offering me to „voice move“, I get an empty board at the start of the game. Since I cannot play blind, I don’t move, so the game is aborted, with the notorious warning that I might be banned. I tried a few time, not sure I still have before I actually get banned. Once the game is aborted, I can see the pieces again.
Is there a way to fix this? I play on IPhone using the Safari browser.. Not sure if this is related to introducing new features - I wouldn’t need them anyway since I was quite satisfied with the tool.

I guess I found the reason. I must have somehow, involuntarily, switched blindfold mode. After reading about voice commands, I tried a bit with puzzles and then went to start a game, still with voice mode on, said „blindfold“ and voilà, the pieces appeared again. Voice mode off and I could play again..since voice mode isn’t fast enough for a Blitz game.

Way to solve your own problem! For future reference, you don't need to enable voice to toggle blindfold. There's a little hamburger menu in game & puzzle controls under the move list where you can switch it on or off.
