No need to enter 5.Nf3 lines when Makogonov variation with 6.Be3 wins for white in many main variations, slowly but surely. I have only found one line for black that draws with best play so far. So Makogonov variation with 6.Be3 offers maximum chances for white to play to win against the KID. Results in the database speak for themselves.
After 1.d4 d6 the "best" move is 2.Nf3 for a d4 player who does not want the to play the Pirc. And now if black plays the KID your knight is on f3 and you have to know it.

Would be nice to have similar shortcut ways for playing against the other King's Indian main lines you mentioned. The amount of theory in that opening is discouraging.
With respect to the first game. To me it seems like white has most chances although I wouldn't have necessarily traded away that knight on d5. Then again, I generally like the maroczy positions from the white side.
