Why do people even play variant chess, it's such a waste of time

Great work! I always imagined it could be quite useful to use Fairy/MV-SF search as an oracle for generating a solution tree for variants where the engine can not directly solve it in a single search (like in https://github.com/fairy-stockfish/Fairy-Stockfish/wiki/Solved-games), and this nicely shows how it can be done. It is always nice to see new applications of the engine(s).
