who is your favorite player and why?
My favorite player is GM Zhigalko_Sergei because he is so funny when I watch in his video on YouTube
1. Garry Kasparov... we know this
2. Vasil Ivanchuk.. ever since he beat prime Kasparov in 1991 ... take a look at the ending position of the game :)
3. Maxime Vachier Lagrave... ever since he beat Ding Liren in 2013 where Ding's king-side rook and bishop were kept at their starting positions throughout the game.
This is based only on skills and performance on the board.

Daniil Dubov. Fearless playing style and his sense of humor. No nonsense interviews.
Vasily Ivanchuk. Transcendent playing strength, underappreciated due to never being wcc. Still as strong blindfold even at late 50s as any player in the world. His enthusiasm for chess is inspiring.
Also, both are interesting personalities.
