I think you can see that you're proving my point. The masses are always finding 'someone' to blame for their problems. The black man might say, "Oh, if only the world wasn't so racist then I'd be a millionaire with a great job and free from cancer and so forth." The belligerent alcoholic might say, " Oh, if only wasn't abused and poor then I wouldn't have turned to alcohol to solve my problems." The essence is simply that we have choices which root in our "absolute and total freedom," to quote Sartre. Free will is not to be abused by 'freely' choosing to blame others for our problems. If you don't want to be poor then work hard and invest in the stock market and you'll be a millionaire in 8 years. If you want social change, then simply make friends with those who hate you until you embody the social change. Complaining and blaming will get you no where; choosing your mood will result always in a better life.
And knowing that the system is of the devil's making? Thinking outside the box , that this system does not work for human beings to survive or be happy is blaming others ? It's a madhouse , it's insane . And as Lennon said , I'm likely to be locked up as insane for saying that xxx burn the money and care for one another xxx
Strange to read about God in a thread about Sartre. Sartre was atheist. He even fought in the Spanish civil war.

Actually, yes basically once people realize that they have
///free will (((?)))
what, exactly, if anything, are you talking about?
then they are essentially healed. In all cases, aside from those of physical brain disorders, the mental stress can be cured by realizing you are free and simply changing your mood.
Interestingly enough, Sartre converted to Catholicism on his death bed, and disavowed all or at least most his writings. I don't think he fought in the Spanish anything war but he did sort of fight in WWII but was overtaken by German forces and spent much of that "fighting" time in a POW camp. Throughout the Nazi occupation in served in the "resistance" to my understanding mostly by creating academic plays making fun of the nazis. If you ever see what Sartre looked like on film it's pretty difficult to imagine him actually physically fighting in a war.
I do not believe that "the system" is of the devil's making nor should you believe in some 'demiurge' construct.
I personally believe in a blend of 'philosophical phenomenology' mixed with 'quaker christianity.' But aside from that, I think there's overwhelming evidence just looking a the world that humanity is essentially good, not evil. The only evil are therapists confusing people about external realities, violent criminals, greedy business owners, and treacherous politicians. If the world was actually bad then nothing would function....but everything functions!

The system only works for people that have eaten from the tree of knowledge , the actors ,it does not work for humans who just want to live. xxx
