This past week I've noticed that if I've a premove and my opponent resigns or runs out of time, the game will 'hang' (not end, just freezeup).
This is especially bothersome when it happens during tourneys (though, I can still return to the tournament by using the separate link for that purpose).
If you have a separate link then use it for returning to the tourneys.
In a game it does not happens to me,it could be your network problem.Check your internet service first and then you could have a solution.
I'm told by one or more others that they've started experiencing the same problem (game 'hangs' or freezes if they've premoved and the game then wants to end).
It's a new issue only affecting frequent premovers, I'm confident.

Yes it's a new issue,but it is problem of your network connection and not a problem of lichess.
Well I will try to reproduce it anyway, and if I can see it then I can fix it. I'm always happy to fix bugs.
Simply pressing F5 (i.e. refresh) solves this problem for me.
