who will be the next magnus carlsen?!

<Comment deleted by user>
He isn't qualified for the candidates tournament 2020, therefore another one gets his chance in the next wcc match. But of course he could become a candidate in the next cycles. Looks like he is changing one very important thing, so he will not lose any game or worldcup match without playing.
He has to learn some basic FIDE rules first. ;) SCNR

(impressing performances so far, indeed. Took over some other whizkids. Time will tell).
IMHO, at top 10 nobody right now can ursurp magnus title, unless he is psychological depressed or so. Only Caruana may even pretend to do so, but he is a level bellow him. I don't know for Firouzja, my feeling is that magnus will remain there until he loses capacity and the others archive to play his level. Maybe a couple would defeat magnus in a match nowadays, maybe a Capablanca, a Fisher, a Kasparov (all in their peak). He pushed the game to a new level. Imagine he didn't exist. Probably there is half a dozen possible world champions, that in other time archive it for real.
Hi

Kramnik is the only one who can defeat Magnus. Kramnik is a creative chess player. Magnus only defeats opponents and doesn't have much creativity.
Being better at defeating opponents than everybody else sounds like a useful skill for a World Champion though.

One would think that Carlsen has earned his place among the other Champions by now.
