What are some hobbies you have, but your friends aren't interested in?

<Comment deleted by user>
Bicycle touring, adventuring, living on the road for long stretches.

I don't own a monkey trap, ( that tracking/surveillance device they tricked everyone into carrying around).
One of my hobbies was talking about the fact that I have zero friends to strangers, unfortunately this backfired and there's now an online viral MrChess friend club campaign, I keep telling them "I don't want any friends", they're like "yeah whatever dude, you would say that, you jokester you hahaha"!. :).
I have read everything and to those who want no friends... I am trying to imagine a life without friends. If you are happy, I am happy for you... but my gut just keeps nudging me that it's sad.... :-(

I hope I am wrong and if you want friends, you have them and if you don't that you are living your best life... but if you want friends and don't have them... I wish you the courage to reach out and make some. Everyone has something relatable to other people and hopefully you find someone with common interests... tech is making that easier.

"tech" is like everything else in the great big world...a cyclical phenomena. The blowback against "tech" dehumanizing humanity is building as we speak.

the one thing that wont go out of fashion is people. They can be exterminated but they cannot be rendered obsolete.

I tried to play in a chess club, I played 10 games, Over the board and unranked, in 15+0 just for fun. the problem is that the club's hours don't suit me and I don't have much time to play there anymore. I felt very embarrassed because I didn't lose a single game 6w 4draw and people wanted to know where I learned chess (self-taught then on Lichess but almost always self-taught, having neither coach nor ranking Over the board). the highest ranked player in the club (1700 Fide) told me that I should be at 1800 Over the board, which is one of the nicest words I have heard on the board even if I don't do not think so.
