@salmon_rushdie , so far as i know -- and I am pretty attentive to the news and the facts -- no president in American history has ever instituted a "muslim ban."
There is a huge number of muslims across the world, living in many countries.
Hindering travel from a FEW of such countries because of terrorism concerns, because of circumstances on the ground in THOSE few countries, is NOT a "muslim ban."
Indeed, when restrictions on those countries are or were imposed, PLENTY of other countries in which muslims live -- even in which they predominate -- are and were unaffected. Tens of millions of muslims were unaffected.
Propaganda has screeched in the past about a supposed "muslim ban." Apparently, some have taken such propaganda seriously.
Please don't be misled by it. Don't even seize on a few political characterizations that you might find in media. Really look into the facts.
If you do, I believe you'll be surprised to find that there has been NO muslim ban. Indeed, the Constitution would make that problematic even if anybody wished to do it. And I know of no American leader who has actually done that or even TRIED to do that. Ever.
