I've had a Rubik's cube sitting on my coffee table for a long time. It has never been scrambled. It's just for looking at. - :]

I sent mine back shortly after delivery with a furious accompanying letter, stating my anger at the Cube having already been solved before even getting it ! I told them some home truths and no mistake ! , oh yes indeed !. ;)

If you are new to speed cubing...I would suggest you to use Gan 356 r cube.
Even MoYu Weilong WR Maglev is a good cube if you are new to Speedcubing
