The first thing is to relax.
When you are nervous, other people pick up on that nervous energy.
If you are calm and happy then you will project calm happiness and it will come across in your expressions and mannerisms. When you therefore chat with a girl, she will be calm and happy to chat with you because of mirror neurons. It's very basic and scientific.
This is why I always harass my wife and pursue her with fun flirtation and mischief, because it leads to a fun and upbeat marriage.

This is absolutely not true. This is a coping strategy for boys and men who are afraid of rejection.
They believe they won't be rejected from friendship, so they try to start there and parlay it into a relationship. This famously never works.
