This can be very irritating. If they do it like, add time, five times in a row fast, I'm pretty sure thats coming from bad energy. I tend to block.

Just beat them with all your extra time to prevent them from doing it

I think I figured out why this could be annoying. @bendk, correct me if I am wrong. If a position is a draw, but the opponent keeps adding time and moving the king around, then I could see it being very annoying. Especially, in a long time control or with increment. At that point, the opponent is forcing you to abandon the game which could result in a ban from Lichess. Example of a completely drawn position where the opponent could annoyingly prolong the game:
