Flat Earthers

@havfanridindis It doesn't take much effort to figure out all of that stuff is just paintings and artwork. Even NASA admits that, and we have no photos of a globe so I can only go off actual science. NASA is completely out of the picture, all of what they do is fake and I say this from unbiased research.
@Skittle-Head I am aware of the experiment, the problem with that is he is automatically assuming multiple variables... a distance sun being a major obvious one. But besides that, it would be unreasonable to take that one experiment and say that it is the end-all because I know way too many experiments that show that those calculated circumferences are plainly false. And it isn't even just the experiments, if you want be to start listing reasons i made like my own 300 reasons off top of my head on paper months asgo but i threw it away when looking for my debit card to return a ring loool. I mean here's the thing bro, the list is way too tall for me to say "sticks and shadows" and dismiss everything else, it is so far unsatisfactory when the evidence on other side is piled up that it is actually laughable. I don't care if it is flat or globe though is the thing, but the reason I say flat is the evidence is so much that even if someone who believes a globe gives me something to research, it ends up unsatisfactory and silly like that (because the pile of evidence on other side is just plain too much, if the earth was a globe we shouldn't be having this debate is the thing... there is a reason the evidences are stacked for flat and you even have to use such a small experiment, because all experiments to show a movement of earth show none, the abundence of experiments thart should be able to show curvature always fail, the real reason I think you believe a globe isn't even just because you were taught it, but most people it shakes their view of this world into a shock. But I have the same view whether flat or ball lol

I should also mention about ISS, it has been shown many photos are actually coming from a certain plane, I'd have to get you that information on that. But another thing... Satellites (For the ones that are real) are literally on balloons, and don't give me the "only certain ones" because the devil is in the details and both you and I know they shouldn't be if it was just a "gravitational orbit" which you have never experienced seeing outside of cartoons. :D

@KJVo: Who even can say what scripture is correct? I could point out the fact that the bible also features a 2 meter thick wall falling down because people walked around it. Is this literal? Or is it possibly metaphorical? Heck, how do we know that the book that makes this claim is accurate? One must either accept all scripture (from all religions) or no scripture in a debate such as this, and I could cite the gnostic texts to support a counterargument.

I really am curious as to the difference between Catholics and other forms of Christianity in your opinion. It seems kind of contrary to the whole "love thy neighbor" thing, especially when the two denominations are based on a very similar belief system.

@clousems Catholicism isn't in any way similar, it is the prophecied antichrist. That is literal, you read it and figure it out. How can you tell about denominations? You compare it to the Bible, denominations don't save anyone. Most are going to hell. It isn't based upon opinions of disagreement at all really though, but I don't subscribe to any "denomination" I subscribe to the textus receptus, the Bible. This isn't really explainable to you, because religion is actually being condemned in all passages besides a singular one calling pure religion into feeding poor or something in james1. Religion as you are thinking of in that word... damns people to hell, the Bible declares that. Anyone who thinks their doings are part of salvation or required in anyway, is damned to hell in fact. You've probably heard of the sabbath, this is a shadow of things that came as I believe it is 2tim says? (it is somewhere in pauline epistles). Man killed for picking up sticks, you can't add you own doings to salvation or you go to hell. That's the point. People misunderstand and are fooled by false preachers who arent saved, taking passages for saved believers (which are not to get saved from hell, but discipleship and growth... which is completely separate from being saved.)

Maybe you all will figure out that the earth is round if I send you up 10000 mi on spaceship. And make sure the ship is not pressurized. Maybe then you all wont come and pester us again that the Earth is flat because you all will be dead (atmospheric pressure is almost nonexistent at 10000 mi up).

well, as far up as I've seen it is flat. So go do that. I've even seen some strange things happen which I can't confirm if they really "hit" something or not. But both examples seem to have the same sudden stop at a point in the sky(edit: meaning the 2nd heaven or what you call "space"), maybe the sky is really the limit.

If I look at the ground, it looks flat. Therefore, the earth must be flat, the government must by lying, the space missions must be fake, and I must be high.
If the government is against us, and is trying to cover everything up, including the shape of our very own planet, then people like you, @KJVo, and your fellow flatearthers would probably mysteriously disappear and never be heard of again.

All your slander of NASA so far has been unjustified claims and appeals to an "unbiased reasearch" that no one else but you has access to. But you don't just need to dismiss NASA. Every independent space orginization and every single person that has ever worked in one has to be in on the conspiracy to not reveal anything to the public. Also every person ever who has made any scientific contribution to our current model or has done some work related to it. Oh and also every person that can literally verify it for themselves with a telescope (as in the example with the laser reflectors that you ignored). A conspiracy of these proportions is virtually impossible and it doesn't take any research at all to realize that. Only common sense and logic which you seem to be lacking.

And I didn't talk about photos of the ISS, I suggested that you actually look at it yourself with your own eyes. Yes, even you can see all that I mentioned for yourself and not rely on any photos but you won't.
