Comparing forums

Chess.com’s forums are absolute trash compared to lichess. Like you’ll have chess.com forums opened since 2015 and ur question or forum basically won’t get attention, while lichess is the exact opposite. Lichess filters by newest most popular, and chess.com filters by most recent comment.
Guys I love this site lol.
I remember writing a message on the forum at chess.com, and it wasn't answered until 7 years later :) With the way the forum platform is set up, lichess is perfect here
Lichess has for sure the better forum. Much simpler and much clearer. Really well made.
For discussions about actual chess and games, I like chessgames a lot, kibitzing there is great and you cn learn a lot.

Technically, Chess.com orders topics by most recent comment, and not popularity. I believe Lichess works the same way on ordering, actually, except for archived topics. If I have it down right, when a topic gets archived, it is removed from the list of topics in the category, but can still be searched for. Chess.com's locked topics remain in the list indefinitely, even though they will eventually get pushed back by new responses on other topics.
i don't understand why everyone doesn't just move to lichess
@kyanite111 Some believe that Chess.com is better. Besides, Chess.com has always been more popular with streamers using the site. Streamers such as the Botez sisters, GothamChess, Magnus Carlsen, Hikaru Nakamura, and much much more. Obviously, this will lead to more people using the site. In my opinion, I do believe that Chess.com is better, but that doesn't mean that I don't like Lichess. :)
