Censorship in Lichess's moderators

I've created a post about Putin's attack on Ukraine, and it was deleted.

No explanations aswell...

Wonder if I'll get banned also with no explanations!
There was a guy who lives in Kiev, he said we should do something about 'the new Hitler' before things get worse.

But it was not me, and he woke up in the morning hearing bombs, so it's comprehensible!!

"Lichess appreciates and encourages calm and sensible discussion on all topics in the relevant forum area, including those on politics and world events".
What are we, insensible psycopaths? How to be calm when your city is getting bombed?

"Lichess has a diverse and international team; on this occasion the moderation was overzealous, which we are handling internally".
Overzealous is another word for a pro-Russian moderator that banned pro-Ukraine posts, maybe I'm being overzealous too!

"We are currently looking to see if we can technically restore the previous forum topic made on these events before it was removed".
You could restore them right now! If you noticed you were 'Overzealous', why you don't bring back the posts?!

"In the meantime, please feel free to make a new post on the global events in the correct forum area".
It was in the correct forum area: Off-Topic Discussion.

Please, return my post, cause I am "Overzealous", and I've never got one deleted before!

Bye.
"...better is praying GOD that no one is harmed"

I think it's too late for that...; )
@celinofj
It is a matter that is highly political and controversial. In order to prevent such topics not arise and create tension in forums, Lichess deletes all such threads. Also, one should make threads which are within the limit and those that does not garner unnecessary ruckus.
From what I understand, lichess mods sometimes operate independently. This allows them to respond more quickly to emerging problems, but it also means that a single mod, misinterpreting lichess moderation policy, can do things like deleting threads that shouldn't be deleted.
Lichess apologized and clarified the issue. Let's just all move on with our lives.
