I have never had a boss but had a captain of a chess team
When I was little I was afraid of bosses, I thought they would be like Lucille Ball's boss that had the little mustache.
when i was little i was afraid of the Ikea manager (not exactly the boss but you know I just had to).
I once had a job in Eastern Germany, about 6 years after the German reunification. And my boss told me in all seriousness that we Westerners did the reunification only for one reason: To send all the turkish migrants living in Western Germany to Eastern Germany.
Completely ignoring the facts that...
1. it was the East German population who demanded the reunification
2. in that small eastern town where we lived you could count the numbers of migrants with the fingers of one hand. And they were mostly Vietnamese from the old Honecker times.
3. We have freedom of movement in Germany. There was and is no legal way to relocate anyone against his will into East Germany.
Her rant was not only racist but also so epically fucking dumb and a jaw-dropping moment I was completely flabbergasted and couldn't say a word.
Indeed yes, about 12 years ago i experienced the clique culture Manager type (encouraged from the very top down) who got all his pally subordinates involved in his/their disdain for me in the Workplace, by firing them up to make smart *** remarks under their breath or even blatantly to my face, and guess who had all the witnesses ! ,it was a constructive dismissal technique basically, an utterly disgusting practice employed by cowards.
Fortunately i was in the process of leaving anyway , but i feel very bad for the people who are stuck with these bullies and cowards we have these days.
I'm self employed now and have been for 10 years now.

Surely, every governmental employee in America had him from 2016-2020.
I had an alcoholic boss that was technically terrible at his job as he'd for instance just randomly not show up at work for weeks or a months sometimes.
But it was great in the sense that your job is much easier when there's not a boss around to mess stuff up.

Oh, its much better now, food prices are 70% higher since '20, gasoline has risen almost as much. Yes, lets continue that trend, we can achieve 3rd world status by 2030.
