I can't follow you.

The TV guy hosting the show started the interview with not so much civility, is asking the dumb guest with his vegetables to maintain civility.?! Maybe the host should be more civilized before asking the guest that?!

And I thought you meant me searching for the video!
I definetely agree: Especially the pastor is pretty rude, at first on the phone and later coming to the TV station. The interviewer - well, he doesn't seem keen on the subject but it also seems that he tries to comprehend the idea of LGBTIQ - then again, he didn't do his homework preparing for the interview. To be honest, I thought it was a scripted sketch but it seems like a legit Ugandan interview compilation.

I know

Honestly after the vegetables were out of the bag it did not took 30 seconds and I moved on to a more useful subject.
You can’t change a username (only capitalization). This keeps the DB and statistics reliable and makes it harder to cheat.

As for the name, glad they banned it.
Gae is used as a replacement for gay by little kids and since it’s not a word the intended meaning is clear. They should ban names like iHateJuice etc too (in b4 some fructose intolerant gives me the run around).

By asking why are you gay your insinuating that something is wrong with being homosexual and you need some sort of justification.

Glad lichess doesn’t tolerate intolerance and discrimination! Keep it up!

> Welp, good bye account. Im very sorry for those who got offended by my username.

I find it weird they are stating it now...

??

Just by chance, have you ever seen a database from afar or are you just talking out your exhaust pipe?

Every database model that makes halfways sense will index users and use user-IDs (and not the names themselves) for relations to other database tables. Therefore a user changing his name (or any other property, like his birthday, his status, his picture or whatever) will still be identifyable as the same user. So how exactly does not being able to change the name make it "harder to cheat"?

And how is it making the "DB and statistics reliable"? Would it endanger the DB or the statistics if i change any other property of my user record too?

From where do you know that? I say you are making that up because you think something is wrong with people using questions to ask things and you think some sort of retribution is in order if others ask a question. This abominable and questionophobic transgression is shocking!

I am glad to see your level of enlightenment. There is just one problem: "Rookitiki" is somewhat similar to a rassistic swearword in a language i know of. Since lichess has obviously neglected its duties in not banning you immediately - please delete your account immediately.

Glad you don't tolerate intolerance.
I wish you a gay day like the one i had when i had heterosexual intercourse.
whatever you do, do NOT make your new username ALucasM2
