Are Shortcat and J Perm the same people on YouTube? J Perm or Shortcat didn't say anything about it.

At the first sight, they don't look the same at all. One plays Mario Cart and the other one does cubing skits. But when you look closer, some videos show something interesting. In one of Shortcat's videos, there is a red circle with cross in it, and a green circle with tick in it, and these two videos are both seperated with the same white line and they have white arrows on the picture.

But then I thought, why would these two be the same person? J Perm is honest, and would reveal such a channel. But here is what gets more interesting. When you click on Shortcat's and J Perm's videos, the voices are almost the same as each other, Shortcat's voice is just a bit more excited, while J Perm's is casual. Now pretend that Shortcat's voice wasn't excited and he was speaking normally. Don't they sound the same? Here is an example: J Perm's video:

Shortcat's video:

J Perm once said: I will stop uploading for a few weeks, and Shortcat stopped uploading too. I think Shortcat might be J Perm's twin, but I can't be sure, since I don't have access to J Perm's family tree.

Another thing that proves they are the same person: They are both from Canada.

Some other investigation videos on YouTube search if these are the same person; which is really suspicious.

But I think we should search for more proof.

Shortcat has only 55 videos, but he has 70K subscribers. J Perm's channel was created 6-7 years ago, while Shortcat's channel was created 3 months ago.

Not all YouTubers reveal their alternate accounts including some notable channels. They don't want to show multiple channels with different area of field they are covering.
