Americans - Never let them take your guns

I live in the UK and yesterday my neighbour was robbed at knife point in the street. He could not do anything apart from give them his phone and wallet. It got me thinking. In the UK we are a country of victims. We have laws in this country that state anything can be an offensive weapon. There is no such thing as self defence. If you carry a baseball bat in your car and the police stop you then you are going to jail unless you have a ball with it and can argue that you are on your way to baseball practice.

We have an increasing militarised police force that carry submachine guns but as citizens we are not allowed to protect ourselves. We are sitting ducks.

Not to mention in the UK there are about 1% as many people getting shot as in a certain other country where people are allowed to wear guns...

How many people get stabbed in the UK? Also where did you get that statistic from? Did you pull it out your ass? Of course not many people will get shot because the government has disarmed us as a population. Many people get knifed to death because you are not allowed to carry anything to protect yourself. An example. I need a walking stick, so I use one when out walking - legal. I don't need a walking stick but carry one just incase a thug tries to attack me - Illegal.

Exactly, that's the whole point. We don't live in some anarchy where it's about the right of the stronger one, we have rules and if someone breaks them the state punishes them.

Yes the state punishes them. After they have knifed someone to death. Nice.

Well would you rather shoot someone or be stabbed to death? It's not even about guns. It's the fact that as a nation we are lambs awaiting the slaughter. You are not allowed anything to defend yourself. 100 years ago firearms were legal in the UK and we weren't offing each other. Now the only people that have guns are the state. So how can we defend ourselves against domestic terrorism?

Where I live I never witnessed anything like domestic terrorism or so because people aren't allowed to wear the weapons here to do such.
Not to mention that if you allow weapons for everyone any drunk idiot can just start shooting people. (and that does happen in the US)

Americans will eventually be disarmed of guns (except the criminal element). They are pushing for it hard, even going so far as to stage fake shooting events with fake victims (called crisis actors) to generate sympathy for new gun control legislation.

Unfortunately, the majority of Americans are dumbed down and will accept the concept of being disarmed and without means to defend themselves. It is the last step required to truly make this New World Order a reality.

If you can generate enough events (fake or otherwise) of mass shootings (create the problem) and get people to become angry, distraught, confused & fearful (create the reaction) the Government can then step in and usher in the new gun laws without too much argument or resistance from the people (the solution).

Problem - Reaction - Solution

Not sure if you have heard this phrase before, but it is the Hegelian Dialectic principle being used.

I happen to own 3 guns of my own and will say that the American people are far from being disarmed. It is true that there are a lot of people lobbying for it, but there are also a lot of people against it. especially here in the south. In larger cities people are for gun control, but you go out into the country it is a completely different story. The problem with public opinion polls is that they only poll people in the cities making the polls wildly inaccurate. I think that the 2016 election was a very good illustration of that. So I think that there are a lot of people very strongly against gun control. And that makes me think that gun control is not an up-coming policy in America.
