BeepBeep sounds very familiar in several ways. 1st, his user name has mimicked a top player here. 2nd. this "would you rather be stabbed" routine is all too familiar. This is a notorious troll, attempting to create discourse here, something he "specializes" in at another chess site with the exact same rhetoric.
It is the exact same opening statement, using the same "catch phrases". He joined only a couple of weeks ago. Take it to the bank.

I was never very fond of carrying firearms or having a pistol in my home. Soon it will be a necessity to protect yourself and your possessions here in Sweden. Only a couple of decades we didn't lock our houses when we were out for shorter periods of time. Now most people have bought a security system including surveillance cameras. What has happened to our good old country?

I live in a country that allows you to own weapons (of course people that break laws or have mental issues are not allowed to posses them)
But if someone confronts me with deadly force (and I had reason to think I would die) I can and will resist in kind. If the perp only said they had a gun I could not and would not shoot (that is murder)
When people try to point out gun deaths they fail to mention it is criminals doing the killings (and they follow no laws but they hope you follow gun control laws and have no gun and can not resist.)
It seems that a lot of Americans want to own weapons in order to defend themselves against criminals. Well, criminalty is among the highest in the USA and there is a point to have weapons. However, we need to ask ourselves why the number of criminals is rising in so many countries. Has it maybe to do with the increasing gap between the rich and the poor? Social justice is disappearing more and more in the western industrial societies, especially in the USA.
