where is setting to set the range of ratings you want for your oponents?

... i thought i saw bewfore, but i cannot find now.
or is it only in chess.com

because constantly playing weak players is/will ruin my game, and i will get worse, not better.
... you can only do game by game: not as 'permanent' setting?
PS i just checked that, and seems to keep previous settings; but it is a bit limited btw
this should be under Settings, NOT undeer Create A Game

This is permanent. Regardless how you create a game. You will always get opponents who have approximately the same rating as you.

Not really permanent. Settings "reset" to original values if cookies deleted / not kept or if one switches to a new browser / device.

Just to clarify . . . it is possible to be paired this way with players whose rating differs by as much 500 points. I personally wouldn't consider that approximately the same but it's all relative.
@MentalFugues

Of course, you can have opponents with a much higher rating than you, but they will probably refuse to play against you. But most opponents are more likely to have the same rating as you. I have hardly ever played against a 2300.
And as long as you don't delete cookies or change your browser, the settings you choose will remain as they are. And of course there are circumstances when the settings are reset. But that is rather the exception. I, for example, rarely if ever had to adjust the setting again. Unless I wanted it that way.

Well, you've played over 300 rapid games and your rating isn't 1300, so you're not that strong to say that playing against weaker opponents would ruin your game. That's presumptuous and arrogant.
