For instance, you don't "own" this topic. You can't close it, exclude others, delete it, or edit the comments of others.

This is a public forum. If you want a (mostly) private forum, make a team that requires permission to join, then post in that team’s forum. (Anyone will be able to view it, but only members can reply or react.) If you want true privacy, use direct messages. 🤷

You can block private communications, but only moderators can block public ones. If anyone else could do so, that power would certainly be abused. So by nature, and with good reason, that’s not how these things work, “bro.” 😉
