Lichess tends to decrease player's puzzle ratings by:
1. Low rating increase if you suceed.
2. Huge amounts of rating taken away from you if you even make single mistake.
3. Automatically turns off rating if you use hints, even for once.
Now this happens if you set the puzzle to Normal, Easier and Easiest.
LICHESS SHOULD FIX THIS.
did you select to have easy puzzles? because that as expected in easy puzzles. Pick close to your strength i.e normal and you lose and win same amount
I'm not great at distinguishing serious things from irrelevant ones, but puzzle ratings aren't really serious.
I always assumed lichess treated hints as a loss; after all, you're giving up. If it doesn't count them at all, that is indeed unfair.

my rating in puzzles is 4k highest
Puzzles work in the same way as games against other people.
If you fail a puzzle, you "lost the game". So the puzzle gains rating and you lose it.
If you select harder puzzles (aka play against a puzzle with a higher rating than you), you will gain more rating if you complete it and lose less rating if you fail it.
I think your puzzle rating is high for your rating though
@comandora you did cheating and got this puzzle rating.
