Hi all :)
i made a lots of tactics puzzles, but for me this TT system must be improved.
i mean;
if in a puzzle there is a mate in 7-8 or 9 moves....this is the 100% correct answare...but...
if i find a combination to win a Queen and a Rook with a final +20 (or more) material points ... it must to be considerated a good answare too.
for the second answare, for me is not good to receive a "Puzzle failed -10 points" after to have won a queen and a rook.
for me should be better, for my example, to receive a "Good answare" message with less points, for example 1-2 or 3 points.
I can understand ZERO points too... but not "Puzzle failed -10".
I don't like the "black and white" system (puzzle correct or puzzle failed), for me is obsolete.
For me is correct to have a gray scale of answares.
Sure, if i win a pawn ....the puzzle is failed, but a queen and a rook is different.
Every puzzle have more than 1 good answare to win the game.
