some puzzles broken

i dont think the problem is in the puzzles, but in who makes the puzzles, because there are many other puzzles like this that do not accept basic solution

Keep downvoting and reporting them here! Eventually with your help we'll get rid of the rotten puzzles.

The issue is that the puzzles are so high rated because they are wrong - no one can solve an incorrect puzzle. So sadly you're lumped with all of them because no-one bothered to down-vote broken puzzles.

Clarkey is right. People don't bother to down-vote broken or rubbish puzzles - they just move on, having rolled their eyes a bit. Tbh, a puzzle needs a LOT of down-rating to disappear. I've never been convinced by the puzzles feature, personally.
