I just had the above puzzle come up, I calculated, 1, Nd3+ Kd1 2, Nxb2+ Ke1 3, Rd1#.
Which is 100% a correct mate in 3 solution, but the puzzle doesn't allow that as an answer. Instead it has another completely different answer which is also a mate in 3, but my line doesn't even come up as one of the "that's a good move but there's a better answer" notes. Is there a reason why one line is chosen as better?
