No rating points

I recently won a correspondance game, but obviously no change in rating points has been calculated. Instead the clock of my opponent is still running although the game finished with a checkmate.
The game in question is the following: lichess.org/5tewXiRcGhDD
My opponents account is stated to have "violated the Lichess terms of service".

Might this violation be the reason for that behaviour? Or is it just a funny bug?

Thanks!

at least partially, yes. games against people who violated the tos are automatically casual, so no rating points.

i don't know about the running clock, but i know nothing about correspondence. i can only say that the game is shown as finished to me as a spectator.
What seems weirder to me is that they still have over 100 ongoing correspondence games with normal opponents. Shouldn't these be resigned automatically?
Perhaps it depends which part of the TOS was violated? Perhaps for sandbagging (for example) the games can continue but are unrated?
Cheaters are not very welcome on this site...

and you have no reason to downvote a post that links to the appeal

It's not your business what I downvote at all!

An appeal is completely hopeless in this case.

If you wanna imply him being an obvious cheater (ftr: I won't take a look at this at all), then there's not just appeal in the sense of objection, everyone has the possibility to confess and apologize in hope of a legal new account
