Interchangeable icons

#7 I haven’t been on lichess for that long, but I feel like this is lichess’ most “controversial” or “unsupported” change/update, as many more people have said they don’t like it compared to any other update that I have seen in my time here. If it gets more support will you consider changing it?

@The_Human_Paradox I am most definitely not afraid of change, most updates I really like and I appreciate everything the devs and mods do for us, however in this case I just don’t like the new icons especially on the shield so I really want to change it.

@thibault I like the change but it should be an option to change it.Perhaps get people's votes?

Another point I'd like to add to my #3 post: The bullet and ultrabullet icons and harder to differentiate in the lobby.

Actually I like the new logo .. Both bullet and ultrabullet...

@CreativeThinking EXACTLY! That’s another thing I noticed today. 1/4+0 and 1/2+0 look so similar when the 1/2 and 1/4 are written in fraction form like in the lobby.

The cursor was so different and it looked better!!!

@Qweasghkm its great that you like it! However quite a few don’t which is why I would like this implemented if possible

Thibault even implemented a change to bring back the old arrows after just 1 post: lichess.org/forum/lichess-feedback/we-want-the-old-arrows-back#3 But this is a serious suggestion and loads of people don’t like the new update! It should be possible :-(

I like it mostly beceause a lightning (=blitz) semantically was a poor choice in the first place
