Hello everyone, I'm opening this topic because it's not the first time that the software ends the game in a draw due to a triple repetition, but there is no triple repetition, as you can see in the game below, it's not the first time that this happens to me, I think it's a bug.

It's counted out on the analysis board. Look at the move list, the repeat positions are numbered.

The positions after move 40, 42, and 44 are exactly the same, aren't they?
There it is: threefold repetition of the position.
So what makes you think this is not a repetition?
Note that the rule is about the position, not about the move made.

Hi, Yes, because I'm used to thinking about the repetition in the next move, but in this case the first repetition is on the 40th move, then the second repetition on the 42nd, and finally the 44th move. I'd never paid attention to this, but better late than never

I'm not surprised that many players are not familiar with all details of chess rules. What I don't understand is why so many don't bother to check the rules even when going to report something they are not sure about as a bug. (Not bothering to read the FAQ or searching the forum is another story.)

I don't think it's a problem to report a situation where several people could be mistaken. Before posting, I asked a few people for confirmation, and immediately it didn't seem repetitive, otherwise I wouldn't have posted it, but I think sharing is always a positive thing.
