I just watched Eric Rosen play a blindfold simul with speech synthesis, but when he heard an opponent's move, he kept getting confused as to which board the move was played on. And he only had two boards going. I can imagine it would be much worse with 3 or 4 or more boards. A feature could be added to speech synthesis to detect if it is a simul, and if so, add "board x: " before saying the move.
