Aborting games against ? shouldn't lead to any punishments

Again, just because I might not play them doesn't mean nobody will. If they want to convince me, then can play lots of games in other timecontrols. Doesn't take long to rack up 1000 games in bullet. They can also play 15 rapid games against low rated opponents and then enter arena tournaments where you can't abort.

This is true! I have done this and also accepted challenges from others.

To block this player and therewith secure not to be paired against this player again.
Aborting games can ́t be the correct way.
Am i wrong?

You can't predict your opponent in the pool

First of it wont be just you considering how many times people have complains
about it in the past also Lichess wants everyone to play games not aborts because aborts wastes everyone's time

Wdym by me it forces everyone to play everyone regardless of everything
the only thing choice you have on who you play is the filter options for rating, time control, rated or not and color
or by choose each game manually

So just add a filter to exclude ? or a certain number of games. Nobody will waste either's time.

ok then the deal will be you become ? and you can realize that no one would play with them thats the exact reason why there is not filter lichess wants you to play with new people else new people feel isolated and they cant play against each other to get a rating because of are unknown

Ooooh I have this genius idea, I'll just go with 1-2-3-4-5-6 for the lottery, this combo is so improbable, nobody else will use it. OH WOW, I WON?!? BUT WHAT??? IM ONLY WINNING €200? because THIRTY THOUSAND OTHER PEOPLE GUESSED IT TOO???

(background info: german lottery is 6 out of 49, and the jackpot is shared among all winners, and any patterns or previous winning combinations are guessed incredibly often, making very bad choices compared to truly random guesses that only few other people may go for)

anonymous can be a personal choice. where do you that MOST accounts last a month ? I've been on Lichess for 3 years and I rarely face people who were later banned for cheating, yet I play tournaments everyday.

But if you want a "sure" classical without the random, you can try Lichess 4545
