What do you suggest to improve my chess?

Hey there. I play only Rapid games because I can think enough during the game. My Rapid rating is 1600 on Lichess, but I think I make so many mistakes. What do you suggest to me to reach 1700 on Rapid games? (I know just Italian Openning by the way.)
Practice by doing lots of puzzles. Familiarise yourself with the themes contained within puzzles. Eg forks, pins, skewers, double attacks, promoting a pawn, deflection, interference, checkmate threats and mating nets.

Once you learn to quickly identify these key pieces of information the solutions should jump out to you.

Also I recommended buying Jeremy silmans book 'how to re-assess your chess' This will help with the overall strategy and broader understanding of the game.

I would limit learning about openings until later. Build up a small repertoire but don't go overboard.
It is good that you play rapid games, but you should also use the time allowed by the time control.
The first thing to get better is to get rid of blunders.
Most blunders come from playing too fast.
I recommend switching on move confirmation in your profile.
Think about your move, play it, check it is no blunder, confirm it.
Here is an example
you should try longer time controls. if you just can't tolerate that - then it seems that you just can't. people who play fast don't seem to put that much thought into moves, mistakes are 'accepted' a lot easier, maybe cause less (time) is invested... there's nothing wrong with rapid.... you might improve though if you actually spend more time thinking per move................

also solving lots of captchas............that's how i practice...............that's a joke.
I'm not an expert or a coach or anything, just some patzer who's a little bit further up the same road, but a thing that I find really useful is basically using all the computer analysis features on Lichess to figure out where I'm going wrong and what I should be working on. For instance, do I tend to come out of the opening with a better position and blow it later (so work on endgame and middlegame stuff) or do I often play inaccurately in the opening, get a worse position and struggle to come back from it (so maybe learn a bit more theory)? Are there openings where I'm particularly inaccurate or lose a lot of games? Do I tend to play a whole bunch of inaccurate moves (so maybe think about positional play / strategy) or do I play fairly accurately until I miss a tactic and blunder (so practice tactics)? When I do blunder, do I just hang pieces, do I miss the possibility of a tactic, or do I fail to spot a strong reply in a situation where I'm already thinking tactically?

I've found this stuff really helpful, but no-one seems to talk about it that much...
It's always good to understand the goal of your position and the reasons behind certain moves. Understanding your opponent's objectives as well as your own can simultaneously improve you position while also interfering with your opponent's plans. I would always aimlessly move my pieces trying to capture my opponent's pieces or by creating Queen-Bishop/Queen-Rook batteries to mate castled Kings. Watching chess videos, like ChessNetwork's (www.youtube.com/user/ChessNetwork) and possibly getting a coach (if you'd like) are good, resourceful steps in improving your chess.
I am so glad to read these amazing comments which come from very good players.Thank you for all guys. However,I played some games and I tried to think more.It worked and even I gain some pieces and get advantages.Unfortunately,my last 4 game were absolutely discouraging.I did so many blunder.I will try to follow your recommendations.Thank you very much again.
