No. This happens. Ive seen it happen several times. Thank you very much for posting this. I posted about it before; but couldnt find my examples.

You can also win a game and LOSE rating points. I did it in a Anti tourny the other day. Lost the first game, lost 20 RPs. Won the second game. Then was -26 RPs for the tourny; lol.

Look at the two games I lost:

-20 and -2.

So -22 RPs + I won one game. Ended up -28 RPs. Hahaha.

And no; didnt play a outside game in bt or anything.

@ltdonutdagger there is something strange with den1976500 that goes beyond this. Check out his last 10 games. He appears to be losing on purpose.
