@GambitGerard It is hard say when they are so yong but I think we can also put Praggnanandhaa on the list as a rising star.

Sadly for me the original question from the topic is way harder to answer when the subject is the Women World Champion... Hou Yifan is currently the only one above 1600... Maybe Aleksandra Goryachkina?
Firouzja is only 1/2 years older, so there is a chance Firouzja becomes a world champion and must defend it against Praggnanandhaa...

The whole current generation has missed its chance. Giri, Naka, Caruana, Radja - essentially any player aged over 25 right now will NEVER become World Champion.
