Strategy books for 1700?

What are good chess strategy / positional chess books for 1700?
Unfortunately a lot of books are too advanced for me or too basic. I liked Pandolfini "Weapons of Chess" best so far. Any recommendations that are on the same "level"?

1.) Winning Chess Strategies - Seirawan
2.)Simple Chess - Dean

The other books mentioned above are more advanced, nimzowitch is overrated.
1.- 1001 Brilliant Ways to Checkmate (Chess lovers' library) Paperback – June 1, 1971, by Fred Reinfeld.
2.- My System: 21st Century Edition Paperback – April 1, 1992, by Aron Nimzowitsch.
3.- Judgment and Planning in Chess by Dr. Max Euwe and Sam Sloan | Nov 14, 2011.
4.- Chess Endings: Essential Knowledge Paperback – Illustrated, July 1, 1993, by Yuri Averbakh.
5.- The King: Chess Pieces Paperback – Illustrated, June 1, 2006, by J. H. Donner.

But, above all the books of the world, you will need talent and hard work, by this order.
"Secrets of Practical Chess" (John Nunn, 1998). Despite the badly chosen title it's a very good book. It's also available in your language german: "Schachgeheimnisse - Ein Kursus zum Selbstunterricht" (erschienen bei Edition Olms). It's not so much about strategy like the other book mentioned above, but contains many practical hints to improve your OTB chess.
Lazslo Polgar's book of 5335 is a book i would recommend. 5335 chess puzzles, coming in 3 seperate books.
My picks would be:
Stean - Simple Chess
Rios - Pawn Structure Chess
Pawn Structure Chess is by Soltis. Rios wrote Chess Structures: A Grandmaster Guide. I would suggest the algebraic edition of Chernev's Logical Chess.
