Some people just leave a game without resigning - implement automatic reminder not to do that?

Person leave without saying good bye. I think it's a lack of ethics, but it seems to have become a norm with internet chess games. The resign button is there, the Bye button is there, yet people do not always use them. It's a shame. Imagine working where everybody sees each other, but prefer not to say a simple good morning or good bye. For some, it's probably not hard to imagine that it happens in this world. Have you noticed how others drive a car. I think a persons attitude amplifies because of the bubble environments. It's not going to be any better when a chess player is on the internet. It's another bubble.

Chess players wait and wait for moves. Some of it is normal and some of it is not.

A profile speed move number would be nice to see, say beside a players name. It would indicate how fast on average a player plays their moves. The number would be different for each time control. Example: 1M/10S (1 move per 10 seconds). It could become our eyes to see the type of player we have in front of us. A personality number created by the speed of play of a person. If they leave players hanging an H would also be visible, like H5/100 games .

In Lobby selected games, players could pick a player by their speed of play, rather than only by their rating.

If in a tournament, a Beep could be sent like a count down timer to the player that is wasting too much time. If a game needs 1 move every 10 seconds than a beep is sent every 10 seconds. Like a count down timer, but from the beginning of a game.

Imagine a player leaving a web page and listening to something else on another page. A beep tone could be heard if a move is made, like a second telephone line, sounding off that someone else is trying to reach them on the other line. I think this last idea is a needed feature request.
If you just leave a game you got lots of attention just look 4 pages of comments
Li'l Puppet thinks each player should have to wear a certain color hat as to how fast they play. Then, a photo should be submitted by each player. i.e. Green hat for a faster player, Blue hat for a medium fast player, etc. The photo would have to be displayed next to their username. This will end all problems.
I agree with #23 If you attend to play long game such as 60+0 you have to be prepared to sit there for maximum amount of time (2 hours!) so if you can't afford to be free all that time don't go for it. If you have to wait go take a shower, have a lunch, open new tab and study some openings or whatever.
They go out side of their chess bubble and forget all about the game. Reminders won't help others remember that a game is still in progress. Especially if they are not there. But then again that could be the solution, if they do not acknowledge the reminder that time is running low, the game would end.

Some drivers sleep at a stop sign. Waiting for the red light. Until another driver honks the horn. Then they wake up and slowly drive away. That's probably what could happen in chess too.

The solution is to change game and accept you had an opponent that was sleeping in front of the chessboard and pressing the horn did not wake them up.

Solution #1 - Need a button that we can press to send a clock ticking sound when the opponent is sleeping in front of the screen. If the player makes a move, the sound stops and cannot be reactivated before a given percentage of time. The button will only appear if the clock has been running for a while without a move.

Solution #2 - When there is a long wait an engine could evaluate the end game to see if there is a mate in one move.
If so, the engine calls it a win, but only if there is a long delay to play the last move on the part of the losing player.
Hm so if someone just keeps the tab open for the duration of his game, you can't do anything about it, nor start another game. One of the reasons I don't play classical games.
On the one hand, he can use his time however he wants, that's not against the rules. On the other hand, it feels like systematic bad sportsmanship should be somehow punished.
