Similar to the reason @Mate_On_f7 states. For me I'm so tired of mate on F7. It's obvious, unimaginative, boring, sometimes unsound, and yet it never goes away, really, does it? It's annoying so....let's kill it.
My username came from my love of dolphins. hen I thought, "Hey, I'm playing chess, why not put chess in my name?" So came 'Dolphinchess'. The '11' in it came from I was 11 when I started my account. Hence, I became Dolphinchess11!

I don't know why I called myself TheAcceleratedDragon, it makes no sense because I never play it.
My friend wanted me to get an online account so we could play together more frequently than just at the chess club. So I decided I'd only play casual games, bc online chess makes chess less interesting imo. Then I broke that pledge.
Just play some normal moves and you'll see.
