Sick of being 'punished' for winning with clock run downs

I am pretty sick of people getting their 'revenge' on me beating them by just sitting there and letting their clock run down.
I play 10min each chess, and I play fast, often winning within 2-3min, its just the way I play, then I have to sit there for 7mins while the other person punishes me for winning, no resign and 'gg well played' just an ignorent response of silence and the slow tick of their clock down to 0:00.
Over the years this has happened to me hundreds if not thousands of times!
What happened to courtesy in this day and age?
I am sorry I outplayed you I won't do it again!

Edit: I remember the VERY FIRST game I ever played online back in 1997, it was against an italian guy and I had mate in 2...he sat there for 15mins and let his clock run down and I was like WTF...I guess it was a sign of things to come!
If you are winning in 2-3 minutes, why not play faster time controls? I moved from rapid to blitz for this exact reason.
Report them. People who do it a lot, get sanctioned by lichess.
I'd take it as a compliment @NickUK1969 because it shows the opponents frustration and your dominance.

When I get Nona Fried (shoutout to Jerry from ChessNetwork) I use this clock time to do other things that I've been procrastinating on.

Sometimes I use it to write the person a snarky message with embedded word commands about the weakness of this move.

Here is something you can use to flip the script and rent space in their head forever....You like me have to agree you are a little more on a different degree.

And if it just a casual game I'll sometimes even resign to show them it's no big thing and they haven't got in my head.
Bad losers. More annoying when they do it in longer games. Should be a yellow card for a first offence folllowed by permanent ban for repitition.
You are Rated 1300 ... Do You expect people to resign right away ... when you drop pieces in many games ? Just a question wondering Nicely ... ? maybe you would do better to use a bit more time on winning some of those won games as well being respectful of your opponents' chances @NickUK1969

I rarely find people running down the clock. If you are playing very fast and want opponents to also play fast, try faster time controls. And don't expect people at the beginner or intermediate rating ranges to quit when a piece down as making a come back is very viable. I find it hard to believe that you would have hundreds or thousands of games where people run down the clock. That has not been my experience.

I have been playing online since 1997...and I have played on a hell of a lot of sites, many of which no longer exist...think about it, 26 years of playing online chess most days and I can assure you I have had countless games where the opponent runs down the clock! Infact on ICC (a member of which I was for about 20 years) I used to turn off the 'autoflag' so when their clock got down to 0:00 it went into the minus not ending the game...then I used to make THEM wait!
I used to play chess ALL day EVERY day and I did it for many years!
Edit: these days I am a very casual player and put minimal effort into chess, I lost the 'hunger' I guess...my highest rating here was about 2080 a few years ago...
