What is sandbagging?
losing games on purpouse to join > 1500 tournaments
Something people "See" a lot although it almost never happens.
Playing opponents below your level in order to win.
GO check out the people I follow if you wanna see a few. Lichess has banned most of the more egregious ones like maybe a third.
@IPunishDaddy2007 When I used to actively look for these players months ago before I realized the mods don't really care I found on average 1 a day. So there are 8 U1500 bullet tournaments a day and a sandbagger wins 1 (Thats how I found them) that's 12.5% I wouldn't consider that never happening.

@Lidraughtsorg There are lots of perceived sandbaggers but sandbaggers almost never happen. Not 12.5% but more like 0.1%. you're an example of what I was talking about.
Mods do care, they ban as many rule-breakers as possible. Just report, and they will get around to it.
IPunishDaddy2007, I don't think you understand what he's talking about. He is saying that since there are 8 u1500 bullet tourneys a day and a sandbagger wins 1 on average (I'm not verifying his statistics, I'm just saying what he's saying), a sandbagger wins one of these tourneys 12.5% of the time.
I will say that I've seen many sandbaggers play in u1500 arenas before, so while I think that it may be relatively common in these restricted tourneys, I still believe that sandbagging is quite uncommon on a whole.

@TCF_Namelecc And I told him that's confirmation bias, sandbagging basically doesn't happen.
Just because it's uncommon doesn't mean it doesn't happen.

Sandbagging is when you intentionally lose to players to lower your rating and play against lower rated players. Why people do that? I don't know. Should you do it? No.
