I hate that premoving, as I complained in an earlier thread. I have no idea why Lichess adopted it.

There is nothing wrong with premoving and it is a feature on most chess servers.

I almost always premove recaptures when there is no in-between move shot to be played.

If you say you hate someone's option to premove, what you are really saying is that you think you should win on time even though your opponent's position is good enough that they can make a move that beats you without even knowing what your move will be.
