@IainLim Since you posted this forum 4 weeks ago, your rating has improved over 80 points. How are you feeling? Did you feel you discovered anything new? I'm very interested in the topic of self-improvement.

I don't have any chess clubs in my area either - the closest is one run out of a small town library a few hours away on weekdays.

@TatsumakiRonyk I'm not sure really. I did read the first few games of Logical Chess: Move by Move but I don't feel like any knowledge I gained from there has translated to my chess skill yet. I think I was just slightly lucky to get some easier opponents, haha. Or I improved subconsciously, perhaps?

Currently for my study plan I do around an hour of tactics puzzles on chess tempo, and reading chess books. That's all.
