No London Game Mode

Can we please have a game mode that's exactly like normal chess but the London is banned? There is not a single thing more boring than playing against a london, I'd rather play an exchange french than play against the london

@Hcaz123 Just don't play d5 then. Play Nf6 or something...

There's plenty of ways to meet the London. Mix it up and see how many you can come up with to dismantle it. People have the right to play the opening moves they want and it takes two willing contributors to make a game boring.

Maybe Ill try out a g6 at least against a 2.Bf4 london.

@kertandidi you know they can still play a london against Nf6, which is what I play

If I am not mistaken one of the rules to play in the Swiss tourneys of IM Sladgie is : No London ! ;)

By the way, you can opt for Dutch defense or 1.d4 c5 and opt for Volga gambit, Blumenfeld gambit, Benoni systems, and of course there is Pirc/Modern defense against which the London is not particularly effective.

Nah nimzo too fun to play anything but an e6 indian. Just gonna learn g6 stuff against it cuz that seems way more fun than e6 against it

This is the set up I normally use against the London. It works quite well, you should give it a try ;)

You should better try not to hang pieces instead of telling openings are boring and creating new " Game modes " .
